The Paleo explication is a weight loss and health book written by Robb Wolf. I say that this is not merely a weight loss book because it's supposed to accomplish a much wider scope of goals: helping you get rid of disease, feel better, and yes, shed some pounds while you're at it.

The book is dedicated to the revival of the paleolithic way of life, the way are ancestors are supposed to have lived in ancient times. Of course, no one expect you to leave your home and move into a cave somewhere. The idea is that you need to eat as intimately as possible to the way in which our ancestors did in the long gone past.

The theory behind this plan is that humans have evolved over time to fit the ways of life in ancient times before we became socialized and learned how to "fool" nature by cultivating food and later turning it into an industry. Our body is supposed to react good to that kind of eating, not to the contemporary eating routine. The progress of diseases such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity in general all hold this concept.

The Paleo explication is not the only book that talks about this plan but it is one of the most popular ones. This book is a major best jobber and has many perfect reviews.

Some of the tips this book covers include:

1. Food - The focus is on eating unprocessed food with an emphasis on fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and meat.

2. Sleep - Break away from the hectic, low sleep contemporary habit and give your body at least 8 hours a night, what it needs to be revitalized and healthy.

3. Avoid refined sugar, gluten, additives, and food chemicals. These played no part in our ancestors' diet so they should not be eaten today as well.

Exercise is important and there are workouts included in the book. However, these workouts are likely a far cry from the kind of corporal activity our ancestors had to do each day just to survive.

The Paleo explication provides an involving way of life and weight loss method. It is, no doubt, a heavy break away from the contemporary lifestyle and so may be difficult to follow, at least at first. However, if you believe that a return to a pre-modern way of life is what the human body requires most, then this is a worthwhile book to read.
